A Blind Date with Snow – Part II

So many things going on right now I haven’t had time to post pictures of my blind date with snow until now!

Remember how I said that the flight was something we were definitely not used to?… Our flight was at 6:15 a.m.! That meant getting up at 3:30 a.m. and of course we didn’t sleep much the night before because we were so excited about the trip! Not much sleep!!

Anyhow, some of us got entertained by listening to music, sleeping, watching movies, or using iPads.
Of course once we landed we had 2 more hours of traveling by car. So there were the long curvy roads with beautiful views of mountains and the many different stops for various reasons! Once we arrived not only were we happy but also confirmed that “Life’s better at the Lake” – a sign we were greeted with at our condo resort.

My favorite part of this whole trip was seeing the snow falling from the sky!

And just having so much fun with it!

The snow falling was definitely a plus, we knew we would see snow, we didn’t know we’d actually see it falling.

We really came on this trip to SKI and SNOWBOARD!
We are all novices…some of us tried it once and didn’t make it down the slope, some of us got cold feet, and some of us did very well! Needless to say it was quite an experience!

We were heading up this mountain on a Gondola ride and the view going up there was spectacular!

I don’t come out in pictures as often as I’d like…but here are some of my favorite shots my friends took!

We had a lot of fun and hope we can return to Lake Tahoe, California again!
